3. How do I let the City know I am interested in a position that is
not currently open?
Individuals may file an interest card with the human resources
department by calling (530)527-2605 ext. 3073 or by stopping by
City Hall and completing an interest card in person. Interest cards
are kept on file for a period of one year.
4. Some jobs are listed as "open recruitment", what does this mean?
This means that applications will be accepted for these positions
until further notice, and the
recruitment may close without any advance notice.
It is always in an applicant's best interest to
submit his/her materials as soon as possible.
5. Does the City of Red Bluff offer internship opportunities?
The City offers work experience internship opportunities. In most cases,
the city will need to have a contract with the education institution the
intern is attending. In some cases a background, criminal records check, or
other screening procedures may be required before an internship can begin.

6. Are interns paid?
No. The City of Red Bluff does not offer any paid internships.
7. How do I obtain an application?

8. Can I submit my application via email or fax?
Yes, applications and any requested documents may be submitted via fax, email
or by mail. However, if an application is submitted via fax or email, the original
application and any requested documents must be forwarded via regular mail for our
files.
9. Can I submit a resume in place of an application?
No. All individuals interested in an open position must complete a City of
Red Bluff application in addition to providing any requested documents listed in
the job announcement. Applicants may attach a resume for further information to
their application but the resume cannot be used in place of the application or
completing information requested on the application.
